DESCRIPTION
Fourth and final progress report by Jonathan L. Atwood and colleagues describing various aspects of CAGN and CACW populations and ecology on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, Los Angeles County. For both CAGN and CACW, the report discusses (a) population size and distribution, including numbers of territories in each habitat type and civil jurisdiction; (b) reproductive success; (c) survivorship; (d) dispersal curves based on resightings of banded birds; and (e) recommendations for further study. For CAGN only, the report discusses (a) occupancy of major tracts of CSS, 1993-1996; (b) dispersal behavior; and (c) miscellaneous noteworthy observations.
