It allows up to one hundred columns and fifty rows of ranks. The columns may be either the ranks of a target or 'Overall Threat Rank' totals. The 'Menu' button in the 'Threat Summary' worksheet brings up a stack of buttons: Refresh Table, Format Table, Edit Threat Names, etc. CREATING THE THREAT SUMMARY TABLE FORMAT: Click the 'Menu' button, then click the 'Format Table' button in the 'Threat Summary' worksheet to launch the form for formatting the Threat Summary table. There are two pages in the form: the user selects the desired columns on the first page and selects the number of rows on the second page. Follow the instructions on the form to select the columns and the number of rows. Overall Threat Rank: Normally, 'Overall Threat Rank' will display the rank of only the targets selected for the table. For a project, if 'Overall Threat Rank' is selected but no targets are selected, 'Overall Threat Rank' will display the rank of all targets for that project. If 'Overall Threat Rank' for 'All Projects' is selected, 'Overall Threat Rank' will display the rank of whatever columns are selected for the table. The 'Overall Threat Rank' columns need not be the last column of the table for them to calculate properly. Edit the tables with caution! The Threat Summary table consists of mostly formulae; therefore, do not delete or insert rows or columns within the Threat Summary table. Also, do not edit any cell with a formula in it, such as ranks, names of threats, or names of projects and targets within the Threat Summary table. You may change the names of headers ('Summary of Threats' and 'Threats Across Systems') or add additional headers without fear of overriding formulae. You may change the width and height of columns and rows. The formatting function of this worksheet hides columns that have no data and rows as defined by the user in page two of the formatting form.yThis worksheet displays the rank information of strategic actions from various projects. In the Strategy Summary worksheet, click the 'Format Table' button to select a table format. There are two groups of formats with seven different formats in total: (1) Strategic Action Detail by Project: These formats display the ranks, status and person responsible for each action. The table formats are: (a) Sorted by overall strategic action rank, then alphabetically by strategic action. (b) Sorted alphabetically by strategic action, then by project. (c) Sorted alphabetically by project, then by strategic action. (d) Sorted alphabetically by common taxonomy, then by strategic action and project. (2) Strategic Action Ranks across Projects: These formats display the overall rank of each action across projects. An action that occurs for multiple projects is displayed on only one row. The table formats are: (a) Sorted by the overall strategic action rank. (b) Sorted alphabetically by strategic action. (c) Sorted alphabetically by common taxonomy, then by strategic action. You may select which columns to hide or display. - To display all columns, click the 'Format Table' button, then select 'Display All Columns' and click OK. All viewable columns for the selected format will appear. - To hide columns, click on the cell in the top row of the worksheet (row 1) above the column that you want to hide. A drop-down arrow will appear. (If the drop-down arrow does NOT appear, it either means that that column may not be hidden or that you are using Windows 98 and the 'Freeze Panes' command is active. In the latter case, select 'Window', 'Unfreeze Panes' to enable the drop down arrows.) Select 'Hide' from the drop down list for each column that you want to hide. Then click the 'Format Table' button, then select 'Display Selected Columns' and click OK. ;This worksheet stores the data used to create the Strategy Summary table. Do not delete or insert any columns in this worksheet. Ranks and status are stored as numbers (Ranks: 1 = Very High, 2 = High, 3 = Medium, 4 = Low, 5 = blank). (Status: 1 = Planned, 2 = On Track, 3 = Completed, 4 = Off Track, 5 = blank).HideStrategy CategoryStrategy Sub-Category DescriptionLand/Water Protection; This consolidation workbook has twelve worksheets: 1) Home: This worksheet has buttons to load and delete project data, to go to five of the other worksheets (Threat Summary, Viability Summary, Threat Input, Viability Input and Scoring) and to bring up the Instructions. This worksheet also lists the projects that are loaded into this workbook. The loading area is a fixed range that can hold up to twenty-eight projects, and the list records in which of the twenty-eight locations the project is stored (The location of the project is not important -- projects may be loaded into the workbook in any order. The order in which they are displayed is determined by the user later when formatting the summaries.) 2-4) Threat Summary, Viability Summary, Strategy Summary: These worksheets produce the summary tables that are the purpose of the workbook. 5-7) Threat Input, Viability Input, Strategy Input: These worksheets hold the data that are imported from 5S workbooks (or from other consolidation workbooks). Each worksheet can hold the data of up to twenty-eight workbooks. The Threat Input and Viability Input worksheets have an 'Autofilter On / Off' button that turns on or off the autofilter feature of Excel, which allows for quick access to blocks of data for potential editing by the user. The Threat Input worksheet also stores a user-controlled Threat List which is used to standardize the threat names for the summary table. 8) Scoring: This worksheet contains the matrices, tables and lists that define the scoring and ranking algorithms of the model. This worksheet contains much of the same data as is found in the Scoring worksheet of the 5S workbook. 9-12) Instructions, Calculations, PivotOne, PivotTwo: These worksheets are the 'black box' supporting the previous worksheets and do not need to be accessed by the user.Lake Wales Ridge newLake Wales Ridge new2Strategy InputMThreat List (enter threats in the Edit Source Names form or here in column U) ThreatMapHousing & urban areasCommercial & industrial areas%Commercial and Industrial DevelopmentRecreation AreasTourism & recreation areasEarthquakes/tsunamisAvalanches/landslidesHabitat shifting & alterationTemperature extremesClimate VariabilityStorms/flooding Annual cropsPerennial non-timber cropsWood & pulp plantationsGrazing & RanchingLivestock farming & ranchingMarine & freshwater aquacultureOil & gas drillingMining & quarryingRenewable energy RailroadsRoads & railroads Utility linesShipping lanes Flight paths&Hunting & trapping terrestrial animals GatheringGathering terrestrial plantsLoggingLogging & wood harvesting'Fishing & harvesting aquatic resources Recreational activitiesMilitary Activities&War, civil unrest & military exercisesScientific ResearchWork & other activitiesFire & fire suppressionDams & water management/useOther ecosystem modificationsProblematic native speciesSpecies HybridizationIntroduced genetic materialGarbage Solid WasteChemicals & ToxinsNutrient Loads NutrientsSalt"Sedimentation & residual materialsToxic chemicalsWaste or Residual MaterialsRadioactive materialsGreenhouse GassesHeatLightLight PollutionSonic PollutionSoundThermal PollutionOld Common Taxonomy NamesNew Common Taxonomy NamesHabitat RestorationNatural Processes RestorationProtected Area ManagementPolicy & Regulations,Training, Workshops, Learning Networks, etc.Lifelong LearningSpecies RestorationPlanning & ZoningInstitutional Development&Species Management: Species Management;Land/Water Management: Invasive/Problematic Species Control>External Capacity Building: Alliance & Partnership Development4Land/Water Protection: Resource & Habitat Protection+Land/Water Protect< ion: Site/Area Protection ActionMap0Privately & community owned site/area protection%Publically owned site/area protectionResource & habitat protectionSite/area management$Invasive/problematic species control%Habitat & natural process restorationSpecies managementSpecies recoverySpecies introductionsEx-situ conservationFormal educationAwareness & communicationsMoral ConfrontationPublic legislationPolicies & regulations Private sector standards & codesVoluntary StandardsCompliance & enforcementLinked Enterprises,Linked enterprises & livelihood alternatives Market forcesNon-monetary values)Institutional & civil society development"Alliance & partnership developmentConservation financeConservation paymentsThis consolidation workbook accepts data from version 5 and earlier CAP workbooks, from version 5 data packs, and from other consolidation workbooks. Click the 'Menu' button, then click the 'Edit Threat Names' button in the 'Threat Summary' worksheet to launch the form for changing threat names. The form gives you four options to change the threat name: 1. Type in a new name. The button to the right enables you to add this name to the Threat List. 2. Select a name from the Common Taxonomy list. This list stores the common taxonomy set of threat names found in the v4b version of the workbook. 3. Select a name from any of the projects stored in this workbook. If you have created a new name to replace an original threat name, the new name will be on this list. 4. Restore the threat name to the original project-specific name that was initially loaded into the workbook. Click 'Save Changes' to make the selected change. The change will happen while the form is still open, so you may do another change immediately. When finished, click 'Exit'. Note: You must change a threat name by project. As you consolidate threat names across projects, there will be as many iterations of a threat name in the top list of the form as there are projects that use that threat name. This is necessary to enable you to disaggregate threats as well as to aggregate threats. Only threat names that are showing in the Summary of Threats table are accessed to be edited. To have all threat names accessed, format the table so that all projects and targets are included. The easiest way to do this is to select the 'Overall Threat Rank' for each project when you format the table. Data from version 5 and earlier workbooks, as well as data from version 5 data packs, may be loaded. Strategic action data can be transfered only from version 4 and 5 workbooks and version 5 data packs. Also, projects from another consolidation workbook may be loaded, allowing the user the flexibility to create consolidation workbooks that m !"#$%&'()*+,-./0123456789:;<=>?@ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ[\]^_`abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz{|}ix and match projects that may be stored in other consolidation workbooks.
