Hi Terry - what sort of "promotion" of his ERA are you seeking? It would be helpful to know that. The GMT has assisted OUs in the past (i.e. the Carolinian) in thinking about distribution plans- but Wayne Oslie headed up a session at Marketing Field Days on this exact topic I would suggest you contact him. Let me know if you want to chat more. - Nina nhadley@tnc.org

Does anyone have a communications plan for an ecoregional assessment that would like to share? We are developing one for the NW Marine Assessment and wanted to see if others had already developed one that they think could help us as we begin to develop ours.  Thanks very much.  Terry Cook

Hello Terry

Also be sure to check out the recently revised communications chapter in the ERA Toolbox at http://conserveonline.org/workspaces/cbdgateway/era/standards/std_4. This was written with extensive input from TNCs Marketing and Communications staff.

The Case Studies section has examples of products produced for many different audiences.  Some specific to marine assessments. Of particular interest may be the Willamette Basin- Puget Sound- Georgian Bay brochure designed to communicate the outcomes of the ERA to partners.  http://conserveonline.org/workspaces/cbdgateway/era/standards/supportmaterials/std4sm/WPGbrochure_04.pdf

The artic updates are also a good example if you are looking to communicate both products and process throughout the tenure of the assessment. - Rebecca Esselman
