This page will keep you up-to-date on the latest advancements in conservation measures, new training opportunities and updates on new and existing tools. Check back here to see what has been added to the Measures section of the Conservation by Design Gateway since your last visit. - Conservation Measures Working Papers One (Clarifying measures questions and terminology) and Two (Investing in monitoring strategy effectiveness) are now available in English, Spanish, Portugues and Bahasa. Find them in the left column of the Strategy Effectiveness Measures Page. (June 2010)

- A Measures Summit Summary Presentation is available on the Strategy Effectiveness Measures Page of the Gateway. Attendees can use this presentation to share their experience with others. - New Conservation Measures Working Paper now available. As part of a working paper series created through a collaboration of Conservation Science & Conservation Programs in The Nature Conservancy, Improving Conservation Practice by Investing in Monitoring Strategy Effectiveness is now available. (July 2009)
- In October 2009, 25 teams will be gathering at the second Conservation Measures Summit to help advance measures across the organization. You can learn more at the Measures Summit Workspace. (July 2009)
- China SEM Training Workshop will be held in Beijing, China July 7-8, 2009. Participants can find workshop materials and information in a SharePoint site soon. (July 2009)
- Austrailia SEM Training Workshop will be held in Kalgoorlie, Australia, July 28-30, 2009. Participants can find workshop materials and information in a SharePoint site soon. The main project invited to the training is the Gondwana Land Link (diverse strategies). (June 2009).
- The Nature Conservancy's Conservation Measures Business Plan has been completed and released. The document outlines a plan for implementing an organization-wide Conservation Measures Program. (February 2009)
