The Climate Adaptation Clinic was held in Salt Lake City, Utah in early September 2009. The clinic consisted of 20 projects from around the Conservancy developing climate adaptation strategies for their work, five simultaneous "Efroymson" workshops, and a total of fifty-one CAP coaches who participated in the clinic as classroom facilitators or on project teams.
Two important clinic results are highlighted below:
- Project-level adaptation planning guidance. This page contains a guidance document written for experienced CAP practitioners that outlines our current thinking on how to incorporate climate change considerations into a CAP.
- Climate clinic paper on projects and adaptation strategies. Redesigning biodiversity conservation projects for climate change: examples from the field examines Conservancy adaptation strategies developed at the clinic.
