- Valdivian Coast, Chile (Bosques S.A., failing forestry company, owned 147,500 acres, TNC bought debt from FleetBoston in exchange for lands for $7.3 million)
- Trillium / Rio Condor, Chile (Trillium Corporation owned 850,000 acres, Goldman Sachs owned debt when company defaulted, donated lands to Wildlife Conservation Society)
