The Workshop on Nature’s Benefits in Conservation

 

San Ramon Conference Center, San Ramon, CA

February 22-25, 2011

Hosted by The Nature Conservancy's Central Science Program, this workshop provided a venue for about 100 Nature Conservancy staff and key partners to share experiences and learn about incorporating nature’s services to people into conservation practices, and how we can use this approach and perspective to build broader support for conservation.  The 3-day workshop connected staff with key resources within and outside the organization and built their understanding of and capacity in these methodologies.
