The new home of PrivateForests.org is now available! This site is intended as a resource for non-industrial private forest landowners.

Almost 45% of all forested land in the United States is non-industrial private land, contributing significantly to America's clean water and air, wildlife habitat, recreational resources and timber supplies.

This site provides ideas and resources to forest landowners, as well as technical information on using best management practices. Implementing these conservation measures can even help private forest landowners meet their financial objectives.
