Reports and Protocol
One of the best ways to learn about ShoreZone data and applications is to review to the summary reports, flight logs, data dictionary and field verification studies.
- ShoreZone Mapping Protocol for the Gulf of Alaska
The ShoreZone Mapping Protocol guides users through the ShoreZone data collection methods. - Flight Logs and Summary Reports: Flight logs provide details for all ShoreZone aerial surveys, including the date, time, location, tidal height, weather, tape number, and photo id's. Summary reports are documents which summarize ShoreZone data for specific regions and include example photos of habitat types, biological resources, etc. Summary reports also provide excellent examples of how ShoreZone data can best be interpreted and applied.
